There are many types of natural disaster in inner Mongolia.The author researched on report data of news paper and television in inner Mongolia. And especially, the snow disaster which was called `bai zai' happened in 2001was taken up, as a real relief activity in inner Mongolia. We discussedthe issue of decreasing disaster damage in related to the relief activity and nomadic living style
