A}, month = {}, note = {application/pdf, In this paper, in order to develop the impact-resistant RC container for enclosing radioactive waste, drop impact tests of two kinds of RC containers were conducted assuming the accident of RC container dropping from the luggage carrier of truck. One RC container (type I) was designed concerning load bearing capacity, barrier properties against radiation, various durabilities, and so on. The other (type II) was improved based on the results of three dimensional elasto-plastic impact response analysis. Drop impact resistances were evaluated observing leak of the content and damage of RC container by using high speed camera.
