The purpose of this research center is to develop environmentally friendly materials that make effective use of rare earths, to make effective use of unused energy, and to conduct research from a multifaceted perspective on urgent issues related to materials and recycling technology. The center's activities include not only research, but also science enlightenment activities such as science schools, lectures by domestic and foreign researchers, international workshop, and educational programs at graduate school (environmental friendly materials engineering education program). In this article, we report on the international education and research activities of this
