| 内容記述 | Sand that makes a sound when you walk on it by rubbing sand against itself is called “Singing Sand” or “Musical Sand”. Singing sand can be found in about 20 areas across Japan. The singing sand at Itanki Beach in Muroran City is known to be one of the best in Japan. Singing sand is also an "environmental barometer" that is sensitive to environmental pollution, and even if the sand itself has all the necessary conditions for "singing," it can easily stop singing if impurities are mixed in. In order for singing sand to "sing," many necessary conditions must be met. What conditions are necessary, and what are the characteristics of Itanki Beach's singing sand? This report covers its characteristics, focusing on the results of an analysis of the components of Itanki Beach's singing sand. | |||||||||
