| 内容記述 | This paper presents a descriptive case study on the English Presentation Club at Muroran Institute of Technology, an extracurricular initiative designed to support English communication and intercultural exchange through informal, student-led activities. The study draws on structured student survey data to explore participants’ perceptions of language development, cultural learning, and engagement. The club was established to address the somewhat limited opportunities for oral English use in formal coursework by offering a space for presentations, small-group discussions, and peer interaction. Findings indicate that students generally viewed the club as a meaningful and supportive environment for developing communicative confidence, expanding intercultural awareness, and participating in collaborative English practice. Although experiences varied, most responses were positive. The paper discusses the potential role of student-led English clubs in complementing formal instruction, especially in contexts where speaking practice and learner agency are underemphasized. Recommendations for sustaining inclusive, student-centered language learning communities are also presented. | |||||||||
