They have been collected by our fieldwork, some books and documents of the local fishing industry, and several dictionaries of the Hokkaido dialect and weather phenomena. Each item concerned includes a dialectal word written in katakana letters, the meaning with brief comments, the example sentences, the recorded places and other sources. All the words listed were proof-read by the interview research with two local fishers at the age of 70's.
