本論文はこれを用いた雲物理実験の結果を報告するものである. この実験ではビデオカメラにより雲の形成過程を捕らえることができた. また立坑内の気温の鉛直分布の観測により気温減率はある高度を境として2本の直 (曲) 線で表されていることがわかった. このことは本実験立坑内では水蒸気が雲に相変化する際に潜熱が放出されていることを示している. さらに本実験立坑内では水蒸気が不飽和状態においても雲粒に相変化していることが観測された. 次にバルクパラメタリゼーションモデルを用いて本実験条件のもとでの雲の発生シミュレーションにより観測データの数値検証を行った. この結果,
