鉄筋コンクリート (RC) 梁の簡易かつ合理的な耐衝撃設計法を確立することを目的として, 重錘落下による漸増繰り返し載荷および単一載荷を受けるRC梁の耐衝撃性に関する実験的検討を試みた. 実験に用いたRC梁は, 主鉄筋比, 断面寸法および純スパン長が異なり, かつ静載荷時に曲げ破壊が卓越する計38体である. 本研究の主な結論は以下のとおりである, 1) 静的曲げ耐力が同程度の場合には, RC梁の耐衝撃性はいずれの純スパン長に対しても断面寸法に関わらず同程度である, 2) RC梁の動的耐力は動的支点反力を用いて合理的に評価できる, 3) 最大動的支点反力と静的曲げ耐力の関係やエネルギー収支関係を用いて, 耐衝撃設計用静的曲げ耐力算定式を誘導し,
