A}, month = {Mar}, note = {application/pdf, In this paper, to establish a simple and rational impact response analysis method on flexural-failure-type RC beams with High-Performance and Light-Weight Concrete (HP-LWC), elasto-plastic impact response analysis for pin supported RC beams with HP-LWC were conducted by means of Finite Element Method (FEM). In this study, cross sectional dimensions, mass of weight and impact velocity were taken as variables. To investigate an applicability of a proposed analysis method, these numerical results are compared with the experimental ones obtained from falling-weight impact tests.
