A}, month = {Mar}, note = {application/pdf, In this paper, to establish a simple and rational impact response analysis method of flexural-failure-type RC beams, elasto-plastic impact response analysis of simply supported RC beams were conducted by means of Finite Element Method (FEM). In this study, nose-shape of steel-weight and impact velocity were taken as variables. To investigate an applicability of proposed analysis method, these numerical results were compared with the corresponding experimental ones obtained from falling-weight impact tests.
