(消波型桟橋) を対象として系統的な模型実験を行いその水理特性を調べた. 消波型桟橋においては, 通常型桟橋に比べて揚圧力を大幅に低減でき, その低減率を構造および波浪条件をパラメーターとして定式化した. また, 反射率の低減効果を確認し, 港内静穏度向上のために有効な構造であることを示した. 一方, 桟橋完成後の消波ブロックの補修が困難であることから, 耐波安定性の確保が重要である. このため分力計を用いて床版下の消波ブロックに働く波力特性を明らかにした上で,
