It was demonstrated in numerical analysis of ignition delay time that NO and NO_2 had strong catalytic effects on combustion reactions of hydrogen and methane fuels in high pressure condition where active radicals such as O, N radicals were quickly quenched by recombination. The stable O_2/N_2 PJ could be obtained by increasing the input power to the torch under high pressure up to 0.5MPa.
