From this study, following results are obtained: (1) the model is failed in the punching shear mode when surcharged at the center of roof slab; and (2) the impact resistant capacity of the free edges of the model may be greater than that at the center because the free edges can more flexibly behave and more absorb the impact energy than the center of the roof
