Cultural science}, month = {Nov}, note = {application/pdf, The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between muscular sorenss and EMG after eccentric contraction by the Loading Accelation Machine. The subjects used in this study were three healthy men (23 yr). They perforemed eccentric exercise (20 maximal contraction) of the forearm flexors by using the Loading Accelation Machine (LAM). Criterion measures of muscular soreness an EMG during sustained isometric contraction (20,40,60 and 80% MVC) were assessed belore, immediately after,and for 5 days after exercise. Muscular soreness was maximal 24 hours later and lasted for 84 hours later. IEMG increased 24 hours after eccentric exercise at each workload. MPF increased by 20% MVC and decreased by 60,80% MVC 24 hours after eccentric exercise.
