This paper begins by classifying the meanings as closely as possible. Through the classification we can find out the core meaning of the suffix which is shared by its multiple meanings. (-san⁴) gathers them around the core as a motivating element and constructs a semantic network. Our conclusion is that the form of (-san⁴) corresponds to the network. As many cognitive linguists， such as Lakoff and Johnson (1980)，Lakoff (1987) and Langacker (1987，1991)，have claimed，one form corresponds to one semantic network，but not one meaning. The network consists of a central meaning or a prototype，less central meanings or nonprototypes and a motivating element of their connection.
