The crystal structure of a new compound TbRu4P12 is refined by the Rietveld analysis of the powder X-ray diffraction data. The physical properties of LnRu4P12 have been studied by means of electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, magnetization and specific-heat measurements at low temperatures. LaRu4P12 is a superconductor with the transition temperature (Tc) of 7.2K. CeRu4P12 exhibits a semiconducting behavior. A metal-insulator transition is found at around 60K in PrRu4P12. NdRu4P12 and EuRu4P12 show the ferromagnetic ordering below 1.6K and 20K, respectively. SmRu4P12, GdRu4P12 and TbRu4P12 also show the antiferromagnetic orderings below 15K, 21K and 20K, respectively.
