Using the technique for in situ X-ray diffraction, we determined the melting points of binary skutterudite compounds CoP3 and CoSb3, filled skutterudite compounds CeFe4Sb12 and PrRu4P12 under high pressure. The melting temperatures of CoP3 and CoSb3 are 1350〜1400℃ at 3.8GPa and 820~840℃ at 2.5GPa, respectively.
