In order to realize unmanned air vehicle (UAV) which can fly autonomously, it is necessary to develop guidance, navigation and control system technologies as well as telemetry and command system technologies. The former achieves the required trajectory and attitude, the latter monitors the flight condition of the UAV and directs the adequate command in case of emergency. Besides, in the development of Owashi II, small-scale unmanned supersonic airplane, we need to establish required technologies by validating step by step. This paper describes the status of the development of the two systems. |
