The words were collected through the fieldwork in Todohokke located in the eastern region of the Oshima Peninsula; 2) To describe their meanings/referents, usages and background information in detail. Compared to the dialectal words of Setana in the western region of the peninsula, it is demonstrated that ecologically-conditioned, socially-conditioned and linguistically-conditioned factors, interacting with one another, produce similarities and differences in word forms and meanings/referents between the two regions.},
