Numerical results of TEandTM-wave propagation constants on a three-layer-dielectric slab waveguide and a slabwaveguide with periodic thin conductor show that estimating value of condition numbersof HTFEM matrices at computed solutions or changing an integral path in SSM may pointout nonphysical solutions.
