A particular attention will be paid to PBtext Corpus (originally termed The Jensson Corpus/Jensson-málheildin), one of the three corpora in the database, which includes 256 interrogative sentences with several sentence constructions elicited from 20 native speakers (13 male/7 female) of Icelandic. The corpus will be of great significance in the linguistic research of Icelandic, particularly in the descriptive study of intonation, though it contains defects in several respects.
