This is the first report on the nivicolous myxomycetes in south part of Hokkaido, Japan. Ninety-five specimens were collected, and fourteen species of nivicolous species were identified from low altitude suburb areas in Iburi and Shiribeshi Subprefectures in 2016. Number of recorded species of one-season investigation was similar to Mt. Asahidake in north-central part of Hokkaido (5 genus 17 species), Shiretoko Peninsula in eastern Hokkaido (5 genus 13 species), and Aomori Prefecture, the northernmost prefecture on Honshu Island (4 genus 12 species). Micrographs of the morphological characters are provided for 6 species.
