| 内容記述 | This report describes practical approach to the training of writing techniques in an introductory cognitive science course at the Muroran Institute of Technology. The course grade was solely based on the final examination. This report points out several problems found in the examination papers. It is anticipated that similar problems will be observed by teaching staff among their own students at this institute. This will allow the teaching staff to have the opportunity to assist the students in avoiding these apparently common writing problems. The lecturer gave the students a brief instruction on several writing rules in advance of the final examination. It turned out that this instruction was effective, although these rules simply focused on superficial aspects of papers. All examination papers were corrected and returned to the students, with the expectation that the students would become more aware of problems in their own writing and thus improve their writing skills. | |||||||||||||
