The discussion, in this paper, is confined to the dynamic characteristics of elastic layered medium with natural boundary under the impact load, which is assumed as the cushion layer on rock-shed roof. The numerical calculations with varying Lame's constant, loading width, damping factor and the boundary condition of the basement are performed by using two-dimensional finite strip method. The dynamic response of single sand layer is compared with the results for the multi-layered mediums composing of sand layers and RC beams. |
